YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!
In an effort to optimize Church life for everyone, we strive to maintain accessibility to all areas of our campus, both inside and out. We offer preferred parking, numerous accessibility-friendly entryways, and specialized restroom facilities complete with wheelchair accessibility and adult-sized changing tables. Sensory-friendly areas have been strategically placed for convenience, both to our Worship Center and our Education Center. We've probably not thought of everything, but our goal is to create a place where everyone is welcome!
EVERYONE NEEDS A PAL!
A core aspect of our Special Needs Ministry is recognizing the need for relationship. Our P.A.L. Program partners a qualified, loving, trained individual with any student who may benefit from one-on-one support. The mission is simple: a P.A.L. commits to PARTNER, ASSIST, AND LOVE those with whom they are partnered. Whether in an educational setting, in Worship, or in extracurricular activities, our P.A.L.s develop meaningful relationships designed to maximize Church life for all involved.
EVERYONE NEEDS A BREAK!
Our Respite Ministry offers periodic opportunities for families to take a break from the demands of acting as caregivers to those within their family who have a Special Needs diagnosis. Our Respite Staff come from both professional and relational backgrounds, which gives them a unique perspective and qualification to serve individuals with various diagnoses. Whether it's a long, overdue date night, catching up on a to-do list, or simply a nap in your favorite recliner, our goal is to give YOU, the caregiver, Room to Breathe.

WORSHIP WITH A PLAN!
An important part of our Church family is to purposefully recognize each person as an individual made in the image of God, with the goal of implementing best practices in all areas of Church life. Our I.W.P. (Individualized Worship Plan) was created as a tool to better understand the unique needs of each person and how to minister to those needs. The I.W.P. process involves family caregivers meeting together with Church Staff to discuss potential challenges that may occur in various areas of Church life and how best to address those challenges. Concerns such as medical diagnoses, dietary needs, allergen information, etc., can be clearly discussed to the benefit and well-being of all involved. Educational and extracurricular challenges can be discussed to ensure access to all areas of Church life. We may not currently be equipped to meet every need, but the I.W.P. process provides a pathway to work together to overcome any challenge that may arise.
