FBC is a church in action!

We proudly partner with many local organizations and efforts to connect our community to Christ.

These are a few of the ways you can get involved in Lawrenceburg.

  • Blessing box

Take what you need, give what you can.  This Blessing Box is available to anyone who needs a blessing, and is stocked by anyone who has something to give.  Our church and neighboring community keeps the pantry stocked with non-perishable foods and toiletries to serve our community. Click here for a list of items we recommend.

The box is located at the edge of our north parking lot and is accessible 24/7, no questions asked.

  • CLOTHE OUR KIDS

Our mission is to provide at-risk children in Lawrence County with adequate clothing and shoes.  Through clothing and financial donations, we are able to provide children with new or gently used clothing items. For more information on how you can get involved, email us at clotheourkidslc@gmail.com, or find us on Facebook.

  • Give a Kid a Chance

The purpose of this program is to help students from Kindergarten to 12th grade get ready for the next school year.  We partner with the local faith-based community as well as various county resource agencies to offer these services to the community.  We are so very thankful for the collaboration of the local school system, for their willingness to allow us access to distribute the forms to all students. Ultimately it is about the kids. Jesus said in Matthew 18:5, "Whoever welcomes such a child in my name welcomes me". For more information about this organization, visit giveakidachancelc.org.

  • Christmas Backpacks

In Tennessee 22.4% of children live in poverty. We want to share a gift of love and the Gospel with these children. Through the Tennessee Mission Board we are providing Christmas backpacks for the needy children in Tennessee. For more information on how to pack a backpack click here. If you want to participate but are not able to get out and buy items, you can make a donation to the WOM backpack Ministry. The cost to pack a backpack for children ages 2-17 ranges from $60 to $125 (the older the child the more the cost). For more information see Joan Hester or Linda Langley. You may also contact the church office. Deadline for backpacks is September 30.

  • Abigail's plan

Abigail's Plan's first project was to raise funds to build a totally rubberized Miracle League baseball field for our Miracle League athletes. Construction of the field is complete and now provides people with disabilities an opportunity to participate in league play. More information can be found at abigailsplan.org.

  • I am 4 kids

You should be too!  I AM 4 Kids Mentoring provides a mentor for every school age child in Lawrence County who is in need of guidance. I AM 4 Kids provides each faith community team or civic group with continual support by providing training, supervision, group activities, and resources.  Visit iam4kidsmentoring.org to find out how you can make a difference in the life of a child.
