FBC Elevate

The Elevate Ministry exists to support the overall vision of First Baptist Church by intentionally investing in the lives of students. Our heart is to connect our community to Christ by reaching students where they are and walking alongside them as they grow.

We strive to foster an environment where students can experience a real and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through meaningful teaching, authentic relationships, and engaging opportunities to serve, students are encouraged to deepen their faith and live it out in their everyday lives.

Our goal is not only to help students grow spiritually, but also to equip them to confidently share their faith and make disciples. We believe that students are not just the future of the church—they are an important part of what God is doing right now.

Mid-Week Bible Study

Our Wednesday night gatherings at First Baptist offer students a meaningful opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life. In the middle of schoolwork, sports, and part-time jobs, this is a time set aside to slow down, recharge, and refocus.

Each week, students come together to connect with friends, build new relationships, and experience authentic community. Through worship, engaging teaching, and intentional conversation, we dive into the truths of God’s Word in a way that is relevant and applicable to their daily lives.

This midweek gathering is more than just a break—it’s a place where students can be encouraged, strengthened in their faith, and reminded that they are not walking through life alone.

Life Class

Our Elevate Life Class teaches God’s Word in a way that is both meaningful and relevant to the everyday lives of our students. Through thoughtful discussion and practical application, students are encouraged to grow in their understanding of Scripture and how it shapes their decisions, relationships, and identity.

Ben and Anna Wunner do a wonderful job opening up the Scriptures in ways that truly connect with real-life experiences. Their passion for teaching and heart for students create an environment where young people feel comfortable, supported, and inspired to ask questions and grow in their faith.

This class is a place where students can build strong foundations, form lasting friendships, and develop a faith that carries into every area of their lives.
