FBC Youth

The Student Ministry exists to support the overall vision of FBC.  We seek to connect our community to Christ by reaching students and fostering an environment that enables them to experience a real relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and equip them to make disciples.

Mid-Week

Our Wednesday night gatherings at First Baptist offer students an opportunity to take a break from the busy parts of their lives.  We step away from school work, sports teams, and part time jobs for a chance to connect to one another, worship together, and dive into the truths of God’s Word.

Groups

Our Sunday morning student life class teaches God’s Word in a way that is relevant for our students.  Ms. Tina and Mr. Steve do a wonderful job opening up the scriptures in ways that connect to real life for our youth.

On Sunday evenings our students guide the discussion.  They bring questions that are as general as concerns of everyday life, but that sometimes get very specific about something they heard in the morning message, or a question that they have about a particular issue.  We then walk together through the Bible to find the answers.

ACTS (After Church to Somewhere)

Sunday night finishes off with either hanging out in the youth room, gathering at a fast food restaurant, or going to someone’s house. There’s normally a light snack supper and a game of some sort. It’s a great way to wind down for the night before the fast pace of a new week begins.
