Katie Spears was born and raised in Lawrenceburg, she discovered her calling to lead others in worship at a young age. Since then, she has dedicated her life to honing her musical talents and deepening her relationship with the Lord. As our worship leader, she leads with a humble spirit and a steadfast commitment to glorifying God above all else. She selects songs that draw us closer to the heart of God, blending timeless hymns with contemporary melodies. When she isn't guiding us in worship, Katie can be found spending time with her family, or at a cafe enjoying a cup of coffee. 

PAUL SPEARS

TECH DIRECTOR

Paul serves as Tech Director at First Baptist Church Lawrenceburg, managing audio, visual, and digital systems for all services and events. His expertise ensures a seamless and engaging worship experience for our community.

Trea, a native of neighboring Giles County, moved to Lawrenceburg in 2018 after marrying wife Hannah. Along with his role at First Baptist, he serves as the Director of the Lawrence County Substance Abuse Prevention (LCSAP) Coalition and contributes as a staff writer to the Lawrence County Advocate and Pulaski Citizen Newspapers for Main Street Media. Trea enjoys creating art, listening to and playing all genres of music, traveling with Hannah, attending sporting events, cooking, and trying new restaurants.

Ben serves as the Youth Leader at FBC Lawrenceburg. He grew up in Ethridge, TN on a family farm helping cut hay and raise cattle. He met Anna in March of 2019 and they got married in June of 2021. Ben and Anna have one son named Canaan who came along in October of 2023. In their free time they like to travel to state parks around Tennessee with their Golden Retrievers Dolly and Millie. Their goal is to visit and stay at all of Tennessee’s state parks!
